This section serves as a curated gallery of academic artifacts demonstrating my growth and mastery of the Program Learning Objectives (PLOs) throughout the MS in Terrorism and Counterterrorism program. Each button lists a separate PLO, including its NAU definition, the artifact that demonstrates mastery of that PLO, and a brief one-line explanation of how the artifact demonstrates that mastery.

PLO M1: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving. Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving methodologies to assess diverse strategies for prevention, deterrence, and tactical response within the counterterrorism field. Related Artifact: Revised Threat Assessment of CJNG. Applies critical thinking and problem solving to a real world threat. Evaluates preventive, deterrent, and response options and solutions.

PLO M2: Professional Competence. Synthesize and evaluate intelligence from multiple complex sources to lead informed debates on critical issues facing modern counterterrorism operations. Related Artifact: Revised Terrorism via our Southern Border. Integrates, analyzes and critiques a wide variety of relevant professional sources. Discusses relevance of evidence in addressing terrorism.

PLO M3: Communication Deliver clear, persuasive, and professional communications tailored for diverse internal and external stakeholders across various media in the security industry. Related Artifact: Revised Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Security Program. Demonstrates clear, practical communication. Incorporates standards, risk data and threat assessments. Provides actionable guidance .

PLO M4: Collaboration Engage productively within multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative solutions for mitigating emerging global security threats. Related Artifact: Revised Group Project on Terrorist Motivations. Collaboratively synthesizes multiple perspectives into a unified framework. Demonstrates results of teamwork in research and writing.

PLO M5: Personal and Social Responsibility Integrate ethical frameworks and civic-minded perspectives into the development of policy and strategic reform within the counterterrorism profession. Related Artifact: Revised Final Draft Combat Strategy. Contemplates ethical policy, operational decisions and rules of engagement. Considers ramifications for various stakeholders.
